Sameh Mohi El Deen has more than 20 years of experience in the finance and investment industries. He has been involved in a number of high profile transactions ranging from the booking and management of private equity investments to syndications, originations, leveraged buyouts and the structuring of asset-backed securities.
Most recently, Mohi El Deen was Executive Vice-President for Arabian Gulf Fund, a private equity management company focusing on social infrastructure in the GCC countries. Prior to that, Sameh was a Vice-President with Amwal Al Khaleej Commercial Investment Company, where he tailored attractive investment opportunities in the petrochemicals, consumer finance and consumer products industries. He served as a Director on one portfolio company’s board and an Observer on another. Sameh also served as a Relationship Manager at the Corporate and Investment Banking Group-International Corporate Division with Mashreq Bank, where he managed the bank’s exposure in KSA, Kuwait, Oman and Turkey.
Mohi El Deen is a CFA Charter holder and a member of the CFA institute. He also holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship
